Written Summary:
A woman who lives in the suburb of Hachioji, Tokyo has bought a frozen green beans package which has a hole 1mm in diameter. It was imported from China, and after she ate beans, she became sick. Therefore, police has investigated whether the hole is related to the contaminated vegetable which made the woman sick. After discovering, police found that vegetable were contaminated with the insecticide dichlorvos. Police have recovered 57 other package of green beans from the shop which the woman became sick has bought, and checking it carefully. Besides the Hachioji woman, 25 people have claimed health problem after eating green beans but, no traces of dichlorvos have so far been found. Japanese investigators said that the dichlorvos which is contaminated to the package seems to be included by deliberate, rather than accidental during the production process.
Opinion Statements:
I think this kind of thing cannot be happen anymore. I want the Japanese investigators to find out the reason why this kind of thing happened and, bring back the reliance on food which is imported from foreign country as soon as possible.
