I think this is tha last blog that I write in...
Today I was panning to wake up at 12:00.
But I couldn't.
I woke up at about 15:00.
There ia sareason ehy I couldn't wake up at 12:00.
It's because, last night I slept at 5:30.
Last night, in about 25:00 I had a phine call from my friend.
We were chating for about 2 hours.
Then at about 27:00 (3:00) my friend asked me to help for his test.
He said that I have test tomorrow and it is English.
I didn't start studying yet and I want your help.
I couldn't reject it.
I helped him to translate until 5:00 in the morning and we stopped doing it.
It is because we became very sleepy.
He thanked me and went to sleep.
I wonder if he did his test well.
After waking up, I ate Ramen for ny lunch and watched TV.
While watching TV, I realized that tomorrow is the test of reading so I have to study.
Not only test but also I have a report due tomorrow too.
So I made a coffee and went to my room to study.
I did the study for reading so after dinner, I will finish my report.

2009/1/19
Today our IE writing class had a party.
So, the member of the class brought some snackes.
I bought Shimichoko and Rits.
I like Rits.
I ate too much snackes.
After the class, I went to eat dinner with my friend.
When we reached the restaurant it was still about 18:30.
Today was the birthday of our friend so, we decided to do small party.
While we three wer eating dinner, one of my friend start talking about Ramen.
Therefore, we stopped eating at that restaurant and went to eat Ramen.
We ate too much that we 3 became very full.
During the way to the station one of my friend, who talked about Ramen before, said that we are forggeting very important thing.
The cake.
He said that there is a birthday boy so we need to eat cake!
So, we decided to go to the cnvenient store and bought cake.
The person who was birthday said that I am full so I don't need anything else to eat.
But we bought cake and ate it.
We 3 were very full.
After eating cake, we went to station and went back home.
It was fun today.

Types of Environmental Problems
Things have changed a lot and it has become very convenient for people to live. As people get this convenience, there is a very important thing that they have lost unconsciously: the environment. The environment is a very important thing and it directly connects to human life. However, people are making it worse and uncountable numbers of environmental problems are happening too. Environmental problems can be classified on the basis of the place where they are happening.
The first place is in the sea and the problem that is happening is the rising sea level. The main reason why it happens is the global warming. The global warming makes the temperature of the Antarctic and the Arctic high and melts the ice at these places. The Wikipedia said “If the sea level becomes higher, 80% of the land of Marshall Islands and 18% of the land of Bangladesh will sink.” Many coastal countries like Venezia or Tokyo will have the same problem.
The next place is in the air and it has a lot of problems, for example: the acid rain. This happens because of too much use of the fossil fuel. It produces a lot of toxic chemicals which makes the air polluted and when it meets rain, it causes a chemical reaction and makes the acid rain. Acid rain makes a lot of forests die and melts relics like bronze statues or historical buildings. Another problem is the yellow sand. Desertification has made the area of the desert big and the strong wind rolls up the cloud of sand and spreads it widely the sand rain. This is not environmentally bad but also bad for people’s health.
The last place is land and the problem is the heat island. According to the Wikipedia, the heat island is a thing where the temperature of a city becomes hotter than a suburb. It happens because of the overuse of things which make heat like cars or air-conditioning units. This often happens in cities because there are a lot of people. It does not seem like a big problem, but leaving it affects the environment, the health, and the life of people.
There are many types of environmental problems and they will keep increasing. To stop or make the environment much better, people should keep trying. First, people should notice the reality and then need to start thinking what to do. It is people who made the environmental problems, so it is people who need to solve them.

2) RESPONDING TO THE PLOT
If I was a character in the story I would not have got on to the ship to find the monster, because there are no evidences whether the monster exists and I do not like riding on a ship. If I were the author of the book, I would change South Pole to North Pole where they visited, because I want to see polar bear.
“I left you alone so long, because I wanted time to decide what to do with you. I do not want to meet anybody from the world again. I have cut myself off from mankind. I feel that ht easiest thing would be to leave you drown. I do not like people disturb me.” Page 20
This is told by captain Nemo to Professor Pierre Aronax, Conseil and Ned Land. These three were drowning in the sea and captain Nemo saved them. However, after saving tem, captain shut them in a room for a while. After few days, captain released them and said this line. I chose this part because I thought that this part shows the character of captain Nemo very clearly.
3) ANALYZING 7 LITERARY TERMES
Setting: This story took place in America.
Point of view: This story is told by the mind and emotions of some characters. Therefore, the point of this story is omniscient.
Conflict: The conflict in this story is Professor Pierre Aronnax versus himself that during the stay on a ship to find the monster which is damaging ships, it was too long time before people on the ship find the monster, Aronnax regrets that he should not have gotten on to the ship.
Climax: I think the climax of this story is that Aronnax, Conseil and Ned Land escape from captain Nemo’s ship.
Symbol: The symbol of this story is a submarine which captain Nemo made. Captain Nemo does not want to contact with people who is in outside. Submarine is a thing that protect things which is in inside so, it seems that it resembles the feeling of captain Nemo.
Irony: The irony of this story is that Aronnax concludes the thing which is making holes to ships is narwhale but, it wasn’t. It was a ship of captain Nemo.
Theme: This story tells us that it is important to pay attention to the chance. It is impossible to know when the chance will come so, we need to be careful not to miss it.
4) REFLECTING ON THE STORY
I felt surprise that the thing what we thought as a monster attaching some ships was a submarine. Comparing my life to the character’s, my life seems normal. I found that in any country, rumor will spread very quickly and it will be forgotten in few weeks. If the book has been made into the film, I think I will see the ship of captain Nemo carefully especially the engine part.
I think the place where he has grown up might have inspired him to write the book. I do not agree with the author’s view of life and people, because I do not think the way how captain Nemo lives are good. I learned that if we keep on believing, it will come true. I changed my thoughts against scientists that I was thinking that they are just thinking or experiencing at their laboratory and not going out, but it wasn’t. I thought that first monster which was attacking ships were like giant squid as it is drown on the cover of the book, but it wasn’t. It was the submarine of captain Nemo.

Today, I went to Chiba to eat Yakiniku with my friend.
My friend game me e-mail at abou 15:00 and I soon prepared.
I went out my house about 17:00 and first went to Funabashi.
I wanted to by somethings at Funabashi, so I decided to go first.
After buying things I went to Chiba.
My friend told me to get off train at Chiba station but it was not.
When I reached Chiba station and called my friend, he said he will pick me up so I waited him to come.
But he does not appear.
Then my phone rung and it was my friend who suppose to pick me up.
He said he is in front of station and where are you.
I said I am in front of Chiba station.
And he said ups.
He mistaked the station where I sad to get off.
I needed to get off at Chibachuuou station.
My friend told me to walk to Chibachuuoustation.
Fortunately, Chiba station was next to Chibachuuou station.
After reaching Chibachuuou station, we walked to the Yakiniku restaurant where my another friend was waiting.
After we rached there we ordered some meet.
While we were eating little my anoter friend came and we 4 start eating dinner.
After finished eating yakiniku, one of my fried who picked me up at Chibachuuou station, start saying to go and eat Tukemenn.
My other 2 friends were full so, they said NO but I said Yes.
The shop where we were going to eat Tukemen was on the way to the station.
We ordered 2 kinds of Tukemen and shared it with 4.
It was very delicious.
And it made me very full.
I said good bye to one of our friend and rest of us 3 went home together.
2009/1/14
Today I went to eat dinner with my friend after school.
The place was in my local town.
The time we reached the restaurant was about 18:00 and it was very early.
After ordering some drinks, my fried suggested wheter he can call his friend.
I said yes of cours.
After about half an hour, my friends friend came.
It was my first time to meet him.
We talked a lot and stayed that restaurant until 21:00.
After dinner, we went to convenient store and bought some drinks.
While walking to the station, we drunk it.
I said good bye to them and went to tully's cofee.
After buying ice cuppchiino, I went to Family mart to pay money.
I had to pay money for the snowboarding ture which I'm planning to go with my friend.
We are thinking to go to Hunter mountain, which is located in Tochigi prefecture.
I'm looking fotward for it.
Before going to snowboarding, I need to buy new gogle which was broken when I went to Zao.
I'm planning to go and byu it next weekend.

Today, I went to eat dinner with my 3 friends after school.
One of my fried was at Shibuya, so we decided to eat dinner at Shinjyuku.
We met at East entrance of Shinjyuku station.
One of my friend searched the good place for dinner so we decided to go there.
The place was little far from the station so we had to walk for a while.
While we were walking, it was very cold.
When we reached the restaurante, something was wrong.
The name of shop was different.
But the place was correct.
We found out thet the restaurant has changed.
So, we decided to go to another restaurant where we searched.
We walked back to the station and reached another restaurant.
That one was no service.
Yhe restaurant was the speciality store of chicken.
So we decided to order cours.
After staying that restaurant fro about 3 hours, we decided to go to karaoke.
We walked to the nearest and cheapest karaoke shop and sung for about 1 hour.
After singin, it was so cold that we decuded to buy someting hot by bending machine.
We drunk it by the way to the station.
After reaching station, we went home.
It wad very interesting day.

Today I went on shopping to Sibuya with my friend.
We met in front of the Hchikou at 13:00 so we went to eat lunch.
We have chosen Italian for lunch.
After eating, we went to 109 for shopping.
109 was still saling.
We bought a lot of things, clothes, glasses, shose...
We stayed at 109 for about 4 hours.
We became so tired.
After looking all shops, we decided to do for dinner.
We decided to eat monjya and okonomiyaki.
It was very delicious.
After eating dinner, we went to starbucks.
We stayed there for about 1 hour and went back to home.
It was fun day.

I went to Ikspiari to watch movie with my friend.
We saw K-20.
My friend drove me to Ikspiari.
After watchimg movie, it was already 21:30.
We decided to go and see Tokyo Disney land.
There were a lot people.
It became cold so we decide dto o back and went on to the car.
On the way home, we found Royal Host so decided to go in.
I ordered apple pie.
I wanted to eat apple pie for a long time.
It was very delicious.
After eating it I went home.
I soon went to bed.

Today I overslept!!
I had to wake up at 5:30 and go for school at 6:30 but the time I woke up was already 6:30.
Today I had a test of Listening in the first class so I couldn'd be late.
I decided not to make up and eat breakfast.
Then my father woke up and sent me to the station by car.
I was able to be at station at 6:50.
At last I was able to be in time.
After school, I went to eat dinner with my friend.
We went to Yakiniku.
We went to early tha thte shop was not opened yet.
It start at 17:00.
After eating Yakiniku, it was about 19:30.
We tout it was too early to go home.
So, we decided to go and at dessert somewhere.
While walking on a rode, we found a cafe,Ducky Duck.
We decided to go inside.
We ordered cake and coffee.
staying there for about 2 hours and e went out.
After that, my 2 friend went home.
And me and another friend decided to go to Starbuckes.
We staied there for about 1 hour.
Talking a lot of things.
The time has come and I need to go home.
So, I said to good bye to my friend to go to station.
I went to home and went to sleep.

Toady was the test of French.
I did not study that lot but I think I did it well.
After school, I went to Shinjyuku to buy clothes.
Yesterday, I saw it but did not buy any so I decided to buy some today.
I went around the Lumine for about 2 hours and bought some clotehs.
I walked around a lot and that made me very tired.
So, I decided to go home.
Went back home and ate dinner and went to sleep.
Tomorrow is very early in the morning so I need to sleep early.
I did not study that lot but I think I did it well.

Then we found a very cheap Karaike shop so we decided to go in.
We sung until about 19:00 and went back to Shinjyuku station.
While walking tothe tation, we found a Ramen shoop which looked very delicious.
We were not very hungry but decided to eat Ramen.
After that we went back to the station and went to Lumine againt to see clothes.
We saw them for a while and went back home.
Tomorrow is the test of French!!
So, I study and go to sleep.

2009/1/1～2
A HAPPY NEW YEAR
I went to Nagoya with my family to meet my garandma and grandpa.
I woke up at 7:30 and went to Tokyo station and went on to Shinkannsen.
It was long time since I rid Shinnkannsenn last.
We reached at Nagoya station about 11:30 and went to grand parents house by taxi.
I met relatives and ate lunch and ate dinner and sleep.
Next day, January 2nd, I woke up at about 9:00 and ate breakfast.
Then anoter relative came to say a happy new year to me angd gave me Otoshidama.
After greeting my relative, we family prepared to go home and went to Takashimaya.
Takashimaya is located in next to Nagoya station.
Then we moved to Sakae to go to Parco.
I bought shose and clothes.
After Parco, we went to Matuzakaya to eat dinner.
My father reserved a French restaurant.
Before dinner, my father bought me a bag for my Christmas present!
I'm so luckey.
After having very delicious dinner, we went back to Nagoya station again and rid Shinkannsenn for Shinagawa.
We rached our hous at about 22:00.
I was very tired.
It was very busy 2 days.

SNOWBOARDING
I went to snowboarding at Zaou, Yamagatakenn with the member of circle.
We all members of the circle met at Aoyama campus at 22:00.
Then rid on the night bus.
We rached at Zaou at about 8:00 in the morning.
I had to sleep in the bus but I was so excited that I couldn't sleep.
We snowboared until 16:00.
First night we had Christmas party.
Second night was Hikitugi Shiki.
And the last night was Party.
It was very fun.
But unfortunately, all three days were snowing.
Only the last day, the day we had to go back home, was sunny.
The most cold day it had only -8 degreece.
It was very cold.
I want to go snowboarding as soon as possibel!!

Christmas Eve!
Today I went to Shibuya with my friends.
We palnned to meet in front of Hachikou at 13:00 but be all came late.
After meeting, we went to eat lunch.
One of my friend new good restaulant so we followed her and reached Italian restaurant.
I ordered pasta.
Then we went to Karaoke.
We stayed there for about 4 hours.
We sung a lot.
After Karaoke, one of my friend had to go home so, we said good bye to her and moved to Shinjyuku for dinner.
We atr dinner and chose Shiratama zennzai for dessert.
It was fun day.

Today I went to eat lunch to Italian restaurant with my family.
This Italian restaurant is called "Como" and it is about 15 minutes from my house.
We often go to eat lunch and dinner at some special time like Christmas or birthday.
I like this restaurant and the linch was delicious.
After eating lunch, we went home and I realized that I didn't send my snowboard to Zaou.
I quickly prepared the snowboard case.
Phoned Kuroneko Yamato to send things.

I had Christmas Party at IE Writing class.
It was last class for this year.
We all brought snackes to the class and exchanged and eat it.

It is located in Iidabashi and it is about 40 minutes by train from my house.
Before going to University, I went to Loft to get new diary.
There were too many kinds of diary, that it made me long time to choose one.
And this made me late for the time.
After reaching the University, I joined the Math class.
It was impossible for me to understand.

I went to eat Yakiniku at Mahida with my friend.
We went to the shop called "AnnAnn" and this shop is famous because it is very cheap.
It cost only 1700 yen for one person.
But we were full!
It was delicious.
After eating yakiniku, we went to Starbuckes.
We stayed there for about more than 1 hour.
We talked a lot of things.
I love starbuckes.
We became tired of talking so, we decided to go home.
I had very good time.

I went to Twins, Machida with my friend.
We ate dinner at school so, we decided to eat dessert at somewhere.
We moved to Machida and went into Twins.
Then my friend found cafe called "GreenTea"
We decided to go in and ordered pafe.
It was very very very delicious!!
I want to go there again.
